The Amazing Racing Rings
We have an island in our kitchen, and sometimes it turns into a race track.

A nightly ritual
Every night, my son and I sneak out of the nursery and head downstairs. He asks for either a peanut butter graham sandwich or a regular peanut butter sandwich. We sit quietly in the kitchen together, he in his jammies, and listen to the sound of his muffled crunching. He always asks for a paper…

Automattic Anniversary
A year ago was my official start date at Automattic. The past year has been the fastest yet. I’ve never been as happy as I have since joining Automattic – finally I am as content at work as I am with everything else in my life; it was the missing component. As I was reflecting…

Vacation!
We spent the Labor Day weekend in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Besides the beach itself, we also visited the Nancy Island museum, a zoo that was closed due to a break in the night before, and the Buffalo Botanical Gardens on the ride home. Here are my favorite photos.
