Every year, my mother-in-law hosts cookie day at her house before Christmas. My sister-in-law and I bring our kids over and we make about fifteen dozen cookies to split between us all for the holidays. We always make three kinds, and this year we chose peanut butter, spritz, and chocolate covered pretzels. The kids make the chocolate covered pretzels, and my MIL has a 48-year-old party pistol for the spritz. This year, my SIL pre-made the peanut butter dough, and my niece and I rolled all the cookies. It’s always fun! Someone always yells, kids end up crying, we talk a lot, and everyone has a good time.
