This afternoon one of my co-workers and I headed to the Basilica to see Aura, a light show. The rest of the team had gone the day before, and I was pretty curious. It was really interesting – the church itself was pretty, but the lights and music made it very mysterious-feeling. The church was mostly dark, so it was hard to tell how big it was, and there were rustlings and bird chirps that made you feel you were in a forest at night.
After a few minutes of wandering and looking at some paintings, we found a pew and sat for the show itself. It was pretty spectacular. Very intense.
