A little while back, I asked my friend Ricky if he would design me a poster based on this poem. And he did!

It’s kind of a rotten move to ask a professional to do something for free (Ricky is a designer by trade), but I took the risk since we’re pals. I knew exactly where it would go (it’s currently hanging in my office), and I appreciate the reminder that failure is what makes us all move closer to deep knowledge. The font is Lisbon – the link is to the Regular typeface because I can’t quickly find a fatter face.
