Sleeping

My neighbors and I were chatting the other day, and one mentioned that she always considered the last few weeks of pregnancy sleep good practice for when the baby arrives, and I have to agree! Even when I get a normal night of sleep, I am still exhausted – partly because of how hard my body is working, and partly because it’s very broken sleep (I get up a lot to pee, toss and turn a lot, lie quietly and consider reading instead).

The last week (missing one day, for some reason). Overall, it doesn’t look too bad, and if memory serves, I would be delighted with even 4 hours of sleep (or lying down) once the baby is on the outside.

I attempted to sleep in this day:

I actually woke up earlier than this (father’s day), and read in bed until the kids wanted breakfast:

Here’s where the missing day would go.

I’ll plan on more naps, now, while I can.

Ugh. That part of pregnancy is the WORST! For the “tossing and turning”, I recommend the Sleep With Me podcast: http://www.sleepwithmepodcast.com/. It’ll lull you to sleep like a tight swaddle. 🙂
