Talking about my generation


My dad, the family historian, sent me a photo this weekend, with this note:

“Mom & I immediately thought that this picture of mom’s grandmother Della Grace Whaley (later Clark) looks like Eleanor.  Della would be Eleanor’s Great-Great Grandmother.  She was born in 1888.  I’m guessing the photo is around 1890.”

I have almost no pictures of Eleanor not smiling or making a funny face – she’s my happy girl. Do you see a family resemblance?
