A classic basil, mozzarella, and tomato on Portuguese saloio bread. The basil was organic, the tomato was from the farm, and the bread was baked fresh that day (at the bakery). The cheese only had three ingredients, a number I can accept for cheese.
I put a pan with a little butter over a low flame, added a slice of bread, then the tomato, then the basil, and finally the cheese on top.
After a little time to warm up, I added the top slice and let that get a good grip on the mozzarella, then flipped the whole thing over for another few minutes, just to toast up the bread.
The final product. Delicious!
