In an earlier post, about fruit flies, I noted that I stuck the olive oil in the fridge as part of my mania against the beasties. I’m not going to go into great detail here, but yes, it does affect it. And no, you shouldn’t put it in the fridge.
This is the bottle, laying on its side. The bottom half inch or so is the oil. Congealed.
Although I do have to admit that by the time I actually have finished this post, the oil is no longer solid – but lesson learned.

Olive oil is great for any recipe but it is also a good source of phytochemicals and vitamins..
