In 2024 there are three main intentions I want to carry throughout everything I do. They are: service, curiosity, and camaraderie.

I worked with my coach this past year to identify my core values – both as a human and as a leader. They are (some of these will be familiar): service, curiosity, camaraderie, courage, recognition, and vulnerability with accountability. I think 2023 was the year of courage, recognition, and vulnerability with accountability, so it’s only fair that I work on reflecting these other incredibly important values in my life and work.

I’ll be honest – camaraderie is a bit of a cheat, because that’s one I was able to be deeply engaged with this past year as well, but I like it so much and it’s so deeply a part of who I am, that it’s carrying over. And if we want to get technical, you can say the same for service and curiosity. But really, I am not always curious as a first instinct (just usually), and I think I can still better practice service, so I am really happy with these intentions.
