So I was lying on the floor in the kitchen, as parents of toddlers are wont to do, and Henry came up and sat down beside me. He touched his finger to my nose and giggled. That made me laugh, so we got caught in a temporary loop of doing that. He’s trying out this new laugh where he covers his teeth with his lips completely. I have no idea why, but it’s funny to see.
While we were doing this, Eleanor walked around the island and came up behind my head so she was standing over me. Then very slowly she leaned down until she touched her nose to my nose. And she smiled and straightened up and walked away. (And then returned to pounce on my unprotected belly moments later – a really good surprise move.)
So that was two cute things, but consider one a bonus.
