The kids sometimes adopt a new name for something, or take cues from each other very quickly in imaginative play, and it can be pretty cute if initially perplexing. For example, on Sunday on our drive home (around bedtime), the kids both suddenly began calling the moon Mister. “Where’d you go, Mister?” “I see you, Mister!”…

Earlier this week I got a present from my dad – a DNA kit from ancestry.com. I collected my sample (it’s saliva!) and once I send it I’ll find out where I came from. I’m guessing Europe.
