The kids sometimes adopt a new name for something, or take cues from each other very quickly in imaginative play, and it can be pretty cute if initially perplexing. For example, on Sunday on our drive home (around bedtime), the kids both suddenly began calling the moon Mister.
“Where’d you go, Mister?”
“I see you, Mister!”
“Hey, Mister, are you hiding behind those clouds?”
“Mom, do you see Mister?”
“Mister is behind that building!”
If they weren’t being so gleeful about it, it would have been kind of alarming.

When I was a kid we learned it in school, and we were told it was a song sung by a fox in a fox hunt (and that the moon saved it).
